Originally founded in 1957, Westnofa of Canada and later, the RADIX Corp., were established, to design, develop, and manufacture furniture for the contract (commercial) market.  Early designs were built around European style joinery and old world craftsmanship and techniques, and the companies rapidly established a history of manufacturing quality furniture.  Serving the guestroom (hospitality), healthcare, and resident room (dormitory) markets, many of these features are still found in the products manufactured today.  As time advanced, new techniques were married with the old, the introduction of CAD drawings, CNC overhead routers, beam saws, and additional machinery allowed us to integrate the latest in computerized equipment with quality craftsmanship. 

The companies operate from two modern manufacturing facilities, with approximately 150 skilled craftspeople.  With state of the art engineering, machining capabilities, and finishing combined; we can effectively manage most large case good project requirements.  A large percentage of our production is custom designed products to suit an end user’s specific requirements versus standard line items provided by most manufacturers.

However we do have some line items as displayed and we can reproduce any of the custom designs.  We will modify existing styles to suit your specific requirements or work with you on a corporate design.  We can manufacture the styles in almost any hardwood species of your choice (cherry, maple, mahogany, oak, etc.), custom match finishes or stain match to the laminates selected, provide laminates from any of the major suppliers (Nevamar, Arborite, Wilsonart, etc.), provide solid color or crackle style lacquer finishes, and supply the drawer pulls and door hardware of your choice.
